The England international, who is a product of the Red Devils’ famed academy system, has admitted that he feels “ready for a new challenge” – with career-long ties with the Premier League set to be severed. Rashford has been left out of three successive matchday squads by Ruben Amorim.

United are ready to listen to offers for Rashford, having attracted no interest during the summer transfer window of 2024. The hope is that approaches will be received in January, although shifting the 27-year-old’s £325,000-a-week contract may prove tricky.
