United have already triggered the option to extend Wan-Bissaka's contract by a year so that they do not lose him cheaply. It has also been suggested that the defender could be used as a makeweight to lower the price of Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise, who is said to be a top target for United, meaning Al-Nassr will have to move quickly to try and seal a deal.

Wan-Bissaka, who has started 13 games this season following recovery from a hamstring issue, has attracted interest from a number of European clubs as well, including Inter, who were reportedly eyeing a swap deal for Denzel Dumfries. However, there have not yet been any concrete steps taken to lure the full-back away from Old Trafford in this window.
WHAT NEXT?
Al-Nassr must de-register one of their foreign players to make way for Wan-Bissaka as Saudi Pro League squads have to abide by a ceiling on overseas players in the roster. The Saudi club, who have secured notable signings like Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte over the past year, must act swiftly to complete their business as less than 10 days remain in the European transfer window.
